Dear All,
The Global Fund, GFATM, is now in its twelfth year of operation, and the activity figures continue to rise. This is especially gratifying in areas like PMTCT, which were not the first to be implemented.
A few clouds on the horizon: slow roll-in of new treatments for multi drug resistant TB, social factors preventing full use of malaria bednets, and the small but growing problem of resistance against synthetic pyrethroids and artemisinin based antimalarials.
