To what extent will environmental sampling (items 7 and 9) provide assurance in the polio endgame, showing evidence of polio transmission in countries with negative AFP reports? Items 8 and 10 may be of special interest to those working on certification. Students of post-certification policy may wish to look at items 5 and 6.
