Recent Items from China

Below, two dozen items which appeared on this webpage between June 2015 and June 2016. Infectious diseases predominate on this list; interestingly, the last item examines the impact on the health of husband and children of maternal death. In this, the most uncircumcised country on earth, there are three items (4, 11 and 13) on male circumcision.

Almost half the items are on vaccine preventable diseases, including, lamentably, yellow fever, an importation from Angola, sign of the growing globalization of infectious disease transmission.

Good reading.
