Marketing of Breast-Milk Substitutes, 2016 Report
In 1981, the World Health Assembly, with one dissenting vote, passed the Code on International Marketing of Breast Milk Substitutes. In 1984, Nestlé’s, the world’s largest producer of milk powder, agreed to follow the Code. Even 35 years later, there is much work to do. Here is the 2016 report on implementation of the Code.
