Dear All,

There is now a rich literature on male circumcision in sub-Saharan Africa. The second item requires special attention. Postsurgical tetanus is by no means unheard of, and easily prevented.

Plastibell circumcision in Nigeria, of interest to 114 readers, is an interesting innovation.
