As postneonatal hep B vaccination has become almost universal, attention has moved to the birth dose and to the prospects for long term elimination. The chronic carrier state lengthens the timeline for elimination.
Tetanus, trachoma, leprosy, lymphatic filariasis, NTDs, rubella, and cholera all attracted reader interest in 2016.
