Conclusions
Among the neonatal deaths in Okara (90) and DG Khan (86) no case of NT-related death was found. This indicates that NT has been eliminated in these higher risk districts during the period covered by the survey and, by extension, in Punjab Province as a whole. This conclusion is supported by the high TT= coverage of over 90% in both survey districts as well as by the relatively high to moderate percentage of skilled birth attendance (87% in Okara and 61% in DG Khan).
