The current number of the Weekly Epidemiological Record gives an update, by WHO and CDC authors, of the current status of vaccine derived polioviruses. In 2017 to date, cVDPV cases have outnumber wild polioviruses. The second graphic shows annual VDPV cases from 2000 onwards. There was a gratifying decline in such cases in 2016, but that decline has not beeu sustained in 2017.
