Polio in Pakistan, Selected Citations from 2017 and 2018

Please see below, with weblinks, two dozen citations on polio in Pakistan, one of the three remaining polio endemic countries in the world.

Items 1-4 are overviews of polio eradication in Pakistan. Items 5 through 10 discuss social determinants of polio, including access and security challenges, and ways of overcoming them.

Items 11 through 15 cover different vaccination trials, with special emphasis on the use of IPV. Items 16 and 17 discuss environmental surveillance of polio, which is no longer “the new kid on the block.”

Items 18 and 19 discuss mobile technologies. Item 20 evaluates the crucial role of te STOP teams in polio eradication.

Good reading.
