Progress towards Polio Eradication in Nigeria

Nigeria is one of the three remaining polio endemic countries in the world, and the only one in Africa. Here, from the WHO Bulletin and from BMC Public Health, is a treasure trove of articles on all aspects of polio eradication in the Federal Republic.

One common threat that runs through all successful polio programs is that of sustained high quality surveillance, augmented, in Nigeria, by AVADAR (item 6)
